The Most Haunted Places In The World

Many places in the world believed the people around creepy even a haunted place because of frequent sightings of spirits (ghosts) or the occurrence of events beyond human reason.

The following places are considered as the most haunted pliers because of tragic events or disasters that have occurred in that location which claimed the lives of many people. The spirits of the victims who died unnaturally often used as a reason why the place is considered a place haunted.

Here is a list of what is considered the most haunted places in the world.
  • Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania - United States

Eastern State Penitentiary (Eastern State Prison) is located in Fairmont Avenue, between Corinth Avenue and North Street in Fairmont section of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Operated from 1829 until 1971 a prison with shades of the gothic structure. In the last 40 years, Eastern State Prison have become a haunted sites and famous tourist attraction in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, not all prison cells open to the public for tourists.

Built to hold 250 prisoners in separate cells, but on the fact that the prisons could hold 1,700 prisoners so that prisoners crammed into cells.
