The Most Mysterious Island In The World

The island is a piece of land smaller and larger than the continent of the reef, which is surrounded by water. Set of islands called the islands or archipelago.

Island can occur because of a natural disaster or have been formed naturally. There are several islands that produce beautiful panorama, but there is also some island mystery.

Here is the most mysterious island in the world.
  • Komodo Island

Komodo Island is an island located in Nusa Tenggara islands. Komodo Island is known as a habitat for native animals dragons. The island is also the Komodo National Park which is managed by the Central Government. Komodo Island is located east of Sumbawa Island, separated by the Strait of Sape.

Administratively, the island including the District of Komodo, West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Komodo Island is the westernmost tip of East Nusa Tenggara province, bordering the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

On the island of Komodo dragons animals live and breed well. Until August 2009, on the island there are about 1,300 Komodo dragons. Coupled with the other islands, like the island of Rinca and Gili Mota, their numbers totalled about 2500 tails. There are also approximately 100 individuals dragons in Wae Wuul Nature Reserve on the mainland island of Flores but did not include the Komodo National Park.
  • Samosir Island

Samosir Island is a volcanic island in the middle of Lake Toba in North Sumatra province. An island in the island with an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level makes this island becomes an island that attract the tourists.

Samosir island itself is located in the district of Samosir newly bloomed in 2003 of ex-Toba Samosir regency.

On this island there are also two small lakes as a tourist area that Sidihoni Lake and Lake Aek Natonang who earned the nickname "lake on the lake".
  • Hashima Island

Hashima Island is commonly called Gunkanjima is one of the 505 uninhabited islands in Nagasaki Prefecture, about 15 kilometres from the city of Nagasaki. The island was inhabited between 1887 to 1974 as a coal mining facility.

In 1890 the company Mitsubishi bought the island and began a project to retrieve coal from the bottom of the sea around the island. In 1916 they built the first large concrete on the island, an apartment block built for the workers and also serves to protect them from hurricanes.
  • Easter Island

Easter Island is an island belonging to Chile, located in the southern Pacific Ocean. Although the distance is 3,515 km Chile Mainland, administratively it belongs to the province of Valparaiso. Easter Island is shaped like a triangle. Nearest inhabited land is Pitcairn Island a distance of 2,075 km. Easter Island wide of 163.6 km².
